Auditorium of Kai Art Center. The conversation is held in English.
Freelance critic and curator Niekolaas Johannes Lekkerkerk talks to artist Kristina Õllek. Working in the field of photography, video and installation, Õllek focuses on representational processes, geological matter and human-made environment. The conversation between Lekkerkerk and Õllek centers on the relationship between ecology and anothropocene and the links between nature and technology. The conversation will take a closer look at Õllek’s photographic installation on show at the art fair Filter feeders, double binds and other silicones, that explores the North Sea and its blue mussels, oysters and the expanding jellyfish population.
