On July 13th at 6pm, a public English-language tour of the “Cyanoceans” exhibition will take place as part of the Tall Ships Races Tallinn regatta, led by photographer and Kai Art Center’s educational programs coordinator, Laura Arum-Lääts.

Tuomas A. Laitinen & Kristina Õllek‘s duo exhibition Cyanoceans provides a comprehensive overview of their recent works, creating an alluringly translucent environment. Together, the artists create a thought-provoking narrative that invites us to reflect our responsibility for the planet which is part of us, undivided from our bodies, and to question whether humans as a species are ready to adapt to the challenges of climate conditions in the near future.

The tour will take place in English. Included with exhibition ticket.

Kai’s participation in the Tall Ship Races program is supported by the city of Tallinn.

The exhibition is supported by the Cultural Endowment of Estonia, City of Tallinn, the Finnish Institute in Estonia, Helsinki Contemporary, The Alfred Kordelin Foundation, the Finnish Cultural Foundation, Frame Contemporary Art Finland and PALO Productions.
