One Battle After Another is an upcoming American action thriller film produced, written, and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. It is loosely based on the 1990 novel Vineland by Thomas Pynchon.[4] The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, and Chase Infiniti in her film debut.

 

One Battle After Another had its world premiere in Los Angeles on September 8, and will be theatrically released in the United States by Warner Bros. Pictures on September 26, 2025.

 

When their evil enemy resurfaces after 16 years, a group of ex-revolutionaries reunite to rescue the daughter of one of their own.
