December at Kai

Kai Exhibition

Thank you for visiting Kai Art Center’s inaugural exhibition “Let the field of your attention…. soften and spread out.” Our next exhibition, “Radical Light” by Norwegian artist Anne Katrine Senstad, will open to the public on January 26th, 2020.

For the upcoming year we are offering an Annual Pass and a Supporter’s Pass. With the Annual Pass (25€) you can visit exhibitions and public programs as often as you like. The Supporter’s Pass will provide free unlimited admission to exhibitions and public programs as well, but also includes admission to Kai cinema screenings throughout the year.

Together with the Supporter’s Pass you will also receive a signed, limited edition copy of “Elements. Pink Horizon” by the artist Anne Katrine Senstad. Read more about the Annual and Supporter’s passes here.

Kai Cinema

In addition to the weekly “Sõprus at Kai” movie nights on Tuesdays, Kai cinema also hosts Lars von Trier Sundays. In December, “Melancholia” (2011) and “Antichrist” (2009) will be screened, followed by “The House That Jack Built” (2018) and “Nymphomaniac” (2013) in January.

On Mondays we have special screenings with artist talks. On December 16th, the new Estonian-Spanish-Ethiopian co-production filmJesus Shows You the Way to the Highway” will be screened, followed by a talk with the director Miguel Llansó. Every Sunday from 11am to 3pm we have Children’s Movie Mornings, focusing on Christmas movies in December.

Tickets are 5€/3€.

Kai Coworking Space

There are still a few more places available at Kai’s seafront coworking space (Peetri 12, Noblessner). Working conditions at the shared office are flexible – you can rent a desk for a day, a week, or for a longer period. We prefer ventures from the field of arts, however other fields are also welcome.
